Opening Schedule

Elementary school opened in April 2018. 
Middle School and High School will begin a rolling start, with Grade 6 and Grade 10 scheduled to open in April 2019 with consequent grades following each year.

 

Educational Divisions and Capacity
CHIST Elementary School includes grades 1 - 5 5 years of study, 40 students each year
(20 students/ class x 2 classes) = 200 students

CHIST Middle School includes grades 6 - 9 

4 years of study, 40 students each year
(20 students/ class x 2 classes) = 160 students
CHIST High School includes grades 10 - 12  3 years of study, 40 students each year
(20 students/ class x 2 classes) = 120 students

1924 Musashino Girls’ School established by Dr. Junjiro Takakusu.
1950 Musashino Women’s Junior College established.
1965 Musashino Women’s University established.
2003 Name of Musashino Women’s University changed to Musashino University.
2012 Name of Musashino Joshi Gakuin Educational Foundation changed to Musashino University Educational Foundation.
2016 Musashino University Educational Foundation merges with Chiyoda Jogakuen Educational Foundation.
2018 Opening of Chiyoda International School Tokyo by Musashino University Educational Foundation.
