Mr. Hirokazu Osako is passionate about global education in Japan. He is currently a professor in the Faculty of Education at Musashino University.

Mr Tsubuki completed his BA in Literature at Rikkyo University, Tokyo He taught Leadership at Kyoto Institute of Technology as an associate professor.
Born in Pondicherry, Vishal is passionate for lifelong learning in education, languages that took him around the world. He firmly believes that ‘every individual is unique in their own ways bringing their own values to enrich diversity’.
Mr. Mike Mural brings enthusiasm and tech-savvy to his classroom. With over twenty years in teaching, including sixteen years at internationals schools, Mr. Mural has extensive experience with the IB curriculum, especially in the PYP.
Mr. Larter has written and implemented a range of curricula and activities programs to keep his students healthy and active. Mr. Larter also has experience as an administrator, homeroom teacher and head teacher in the IB curriculum.
As a science teacher, Mr. Michael Roberts is especially keen on encouraging students to expand their practical techniques through a variety of chemistry experiments, and to think critically about how to improve their methodology and thus design their own experiments
For undergraduate school, Mr. Dobryden studied the social sciences at Michigan State University (anthropology, sociology, and history) as they relate to Asian countries like Japan, Korea, and China. Between high school and university, he has had nearly a decade of formal Japanese study.
Ms. Hirono Aoyama leads our Resource Center after successfully launching the library at the newly founded IB Bilingual Osaka & Senri International Schools of Kwansei Gakuin, where she served K - 12 students for 27 years.
Ms. Sue Conolly is passionate about children’s literacy and international education. She became a librarian after teaching ESL at Nagoya International School. She was inspired to become a school librarian by her time living in America and her work with the Center for Teaching Through Children’s Books in Illinois.
Ms.Tochigi is a strong advocate of nurturing creativity in the classroom. To encourage, engage and stimulate an appreciation of music within every child on both an emotional and intellectual level.
Ms. Ishii truly believes in the power of music education which enriches individuals and societies.
Mr. Matthew Malvern brings to CHIST a range of experience in the humanities, specializing in teaching English as an Additional Language in private and public schools across Japan before returning to his home country of Canada to complete his education degree.
Mr. Azat Minsafin was born and raised in Kazan - the third biggest city of Russia. He has always been passionate about learning languages, particularly the English language
Mr. Eric Seibert values seeing the growth in student achievement and skills, and enjoys nurturing his students to become passionate, life-long learners.
Ms. Mery Ann Labastin encourages her students to become critical and creative thinkers in math and across all disciplines.
Born in France, Mr Lutringer moved to Japan 25 years ago. He obtained his B.F.A. at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Plastiques d’Aix en Provence, and currently completing a master’s degree in art and design.
Miss Christina Fogle earned her Masters of Art Education and Bachelors of Art History with a minor in Fine Arts for Painting from the University of Cincinnati at the School of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning.
Ms. Kaori Hakone is passionate about integrating technology into education with her expertise in Japanese as both a foreign and heritage language teacher to students whose instructional language is English.
Ms. Megumi Fukada strives to adopt new ideas and technologies to meet the changing, individual needs of her students. She values a caring approach in the classroom with broad experience in teaching Japanese language at all levels from primary school to university.
As a Japanese language teacher, Ms Sayaka Higuchi encourages students to improve their critical thinking skills through learning the relation between language and society and improving their language skills as tools for expressing ideas.
Ms. Rebecca Hertle has over 12 years of experience teaching in both public and private elementary schools. She believes that all children are unique and that they have something special they can bring to their own education.
Mr Duncan Harris was born in Shizuoka, Japan but is British by birth.
Mr Harris has been teaching for nearly twenty years to learners of all ages and backgrounds, both native and non-native speakers of English. He has been teaching within IB for seven years concentrating on PYP in lower elementary.
Kay Alowu is a seasoned International educator; was born in Ipswich, United Kingdom. He had his Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Hertfordshire, the UK where he studied Elementary Education and Special Needs.
Mr. Dan Devere is from Auckland, New Zealand, where he completed all of his education. He studied Sports & Recreation, and worked in the health and fitness industry, until making the switch to education.
Mr. Scott Hernalsteen uses his expertise in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) to motivate his students’ overall learning.
Ms. Grace Altarejos has earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at the De La Salle University Manila in the Philippines where she is also a licensed teacher.
Born in France, Nicolas has earned his Master Degree in Linguistics from the University of Avignon, in the beautiful region of Provence.
